Cessation of The Army Over 37 Provision - Introduction of the Dual Accommodation Expense

From 1 April 2024, the Army Over 37 Provision will cease and the existing SLA waiver will be replaced by the Dual Accommodation Expense, part of the New Accommodation Offer. All SP who are homeowners/householders (i.e. they maintain a home elsewhere) and require SLA at their duty station because their main home is too far away to commute on a daily basis, will receive a subsidy towards accommodation charges, irrespective of relationship status or age.
